Having been able to play a clearer version of the game, I think it is fun, components are a bit slow relative to ink and I wish there were healing options, but the grazing is actually very fun, though the gunplay is a bit soft and I haven't seen a component that makes it more punchy.
The game has beautiful artwork but the gameplay, while fun, is a bit unrefined and clunky, I still don't understand how the skills in the inventory works, or what objective I should be trying to get other than survival.
Hello! first of all thank you for playing the game and liking our art! The item you pick up are called wreckages, they are shown on the bottom-right corner of the screen, when you press [tab] you could open a inventroy mene where you could 1)print them into items like buying items from a shop; 2)recycle them back to resources; or 3)reconstruct them and fill the Eureka meter, you get an "eureka" upgrade whenever you reconstruct 3 wreckages.
This is a very early proff-of-concept for our game's "grazing" combat mechanic, and thus the wreckages system and the level system are not fully implemented yet.
We are sorry for the confusion you experienced when playing the alpha. When we launched it on Itch (its our first project ever) and we are working on a 0.1 version of the alpha(it will have a main menu) hopefully before 28th FEB!
Hey, we have updated our alpha! we added more enemy types, a tutorial screen, a main menu, and improved sound effects. The levels and roguelike elements are still broken, and still there isn't much to to besides surviving, but I hope the game feels fun to just dodge around and shoot!
